The objective of the program is to prepare graduates to function effectively in a variety of medical setting after earning their Practical Nursing license.
Care Hope College’s Practical Nursing (PN) program is designed to equip graduates with patient-centered aptitude and attitude. Students are prepared to take and pass the Practical Nurse State license. Appropriate information and skills are presented to meet the requirements of the Florida Board of Nursing for practical nurses and satisfy the curriculum framework set forth by the Florida Department Of Education Curriculum Framework (01.0-42.0). The program is currently approved for online delivery. The Practical Nursing (PN) program consists of 1350 hours of education, including lectures, lab skills and clinical work.
